Echoes of Heart: A Poem of Inner Turmoil

Echoes of Heartbreak

Echoes of Heartbreak, a sign of hawk,

A façade of smiles is a living mock.

Within, a soul in shadows, a silent block,

Alone with thoughts, in a world of shock.

Heart blocks beat, like migrating flocks,

Blood spills, tears stream, and it knocks.

Do these pains come from hawks?

In shadows, agony silently stalks.

Deep within, pain takes its ride.

Each shattered piece, no place to hide.

In the silence of night, tears coincide,

Burying scars where feelings abide.

Once, “I love you,” a venomous sting,

Now tossed aside, a heart’s suffering.

Slowly fading, like a broken wing,

You were my everything.

With every blink, a plea for sunrise,

Longing to sever these binding ties.

Begin anew, where hope lies,

A surprise in dawn’s skies.

Souls we slaughter, leaving marks,

Easily shattered by love’s sparks,

Is this the echo of sorrow’s larks?

In the silence, whispers of broken hearts embark.
